The following is the structural classification of the reducer:
1, cylindrical gear. Its structure is simple, easy processing, commonly used helical cylindrical gear. Cylindrical gears are mostly used in the main reducer when the engine is horizontally placed, wheel side reduction or two-stage main reducer;
2, spiral bevel gear. Its transmission is characterized by the driving gear axis and driven gear axis perpendicular to each other at a point. In addition, the number of teeth meshed at the same time is large, so the work is stable, the noise is small, and the carrying capacity is large. High installation accuracy is required, and it is used in the occasion where the engine is placed vertically;
3, hypoid gear. Its transmission characteristic is that the axis of the driving gear and the axis of the driven gear are perpendicular to each other without intersecting;
4, worm gear. Its work is very stable and reliable, no noise, contour size and quality are small, you can get a larger transmission ratio. It also has the advantages of simple structure and convenient disassembly and assembly. Its disadvantage is low transmission efficiency. Worm gear reducer is suitable for engine longitudinal occasions, but the application is less.
